Lid & Jar – Chatswood

The Top Line:Β A bit overrated, and more on the pricier side for what it was although tasty – but a nice place to catch up with friends, up in the open area so it had nice ambiance (when you weren’t being attacked by flies).

We ordered the fresh corn fritters and the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs – one, because the corn fritters were Instafamous and two, because we had a craving for smoked salmon.

The corn fritters were nice, but I guess in the end it was just corn… and bacon and some salad. Personally, I thought it was a bit underwhelming for the price I paid. It was light and tasty though!

Just your average smoked salmon and eggs on toast! I’m not really a fan of beetroot though, so that wasn’t really anything special for me personally.

Their coffees seemed to be what they were better known for – but unfortunately neither of us tried it (because we were preparing our bellies for dessert hahahaha πŸ˜‰ ).
